More street flowers in Durango, CO
Note to viewers: I have not been able to figure out how to keep the pictures I place here with the day's blog. Since I've changed the picture, it shows up in the right-hand corner of every day's blog since I started. Bummer. Have to work out those kinks for the next time I undertake a blog.

Every small (and large) town through which we have traveled has had pots of blooming flowers or hanging baskets along their main streets...even in the middle of nowhere. Just beautiful

Seriously, Rachel's two bridesmaids, Erica (VA) and Kristen (CA), rented a UHaul truck to drive from Springfield to the airport in Kansas City because no one-way car rentals were available. What a hoot!

Great History lesson with just enough information to tantalize the reader and encourage further research. If only my History teachers would have been as interesting.....
